Terms and Conditions

Unique Adventures will send an itinerary and pricing for your approval. No reservations are made until we receive your express authorization to book. Prices are subject to change depending on hotel availability at the time of confirmation, however, Unique Adventures will make the best effort to adhere to the approved itinerary and pricing as much as possible.

By approving and booking an itinerary or service, it is acknowledged that every participant and/or family members, including any minor children, are capable of participating in the activities contracted for and willingly assume the risk as their responsibility. These risks may include loss of property, injury or death caused by a variety of situations.

By approving and booking an itinerary or service, you are releasing Unique Adventures S.A. from any legal liability whatsoever, as well as all of their owners, directors, officers, agents, employees, vendors and contractors for any injury or death caused by or resulting from your and/or your families participating in the activities.




Upon confirmation of reservations we need to receive a 50% deposit. 50% balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival in Costa Rica. For reservations made less than 30 days in advance, 100% payment is due immediately upon confirmation.

Unique Adventures is not responsible for cancelled reservations due to late deposits.

Cancellations must be received in writing. Penalties apply based on the following schedule: (Some Hotels may apply more restrictive cancellation policies based on the season, Unique Adventures will provide the information as required)

- For cancellations received 40 days or more prior arrival, $200.00 administrative fee will be charged as penalty.
- For cancellations received 39 to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% penalty of the total amount.
- For cancellation received 29 to 15 days prior to arrival, 75% penalty of the total amount.
- If the passenger cancels 14 to 1 day prior to arrival, no refunds are made.

No refunds are made for late cancellations, no-shows or unused services during the trip.
Unique Adventures reserves the right to modify any itinerary or service for reasons including but not limited to weather, safety, road conditions, force majeure, acts of God, etc. Unique Adventures will do the best to keep any additional expenses resulting from such changes to a minimum. These additional expenses must be covered by the passengers.


Trip cancellations, trip delays or trip interruptions, loss of property, and medical services must be covered directly by the passengers. Unique Adventures recommends that passengers purchase appropriate travel insurance.

Intellectual property: All written information, images, sounds, animations, software and all content of this website as well as every communication with Unique Adventures are exclusive property of Unique Adventures S.A. Any act of transmission, distribution, reproduction, filing and total or partial public communication must have express consent from Unique Adventures S.A. All personal data provided to Unique Adventures will be treated with discretion and shall not be shared with parties non-related to the development of the itinerary. Unique Adventures may use pictures of passengers taken during their stay in Costa Rica for marketing purposes unless passengers expressly request us not to.


By approving, booking and paying for an itinerary or service you confirm you are accepting these Terms and Conditions.
